Clarissa Corinne is a modern day Renaissance Woman and story teller.

She is a SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild) actress, filmmaker, and figurative oil painter.

Her paintings are about love, pain, and the young black adulting experience in America.

Impressionism and surrealism are big influences of her work, such as artists like Frida Kahlo, Van Gogh, and Romare Bearden.

Right now in her studio she's experimenting with oil paint, collaging, and creating art outside of predominantly self portraiture. She's exploring telling her thoughts and stories, through the eyes of others, like a writer, writing a script, and casting an Actor to perform the screenplay.  Clarissa is a storyteller, and her being a writer and actor, also influences her paintings.

Clarissa Corinne is a military brat raised and currently residing in Atlanta, GA. She received her Bachelors in Fine Arts, with a concentration in painting, at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. Clarissa was honored to receive the Outstanding Merit Award, which was awarded to her by the Fine Arts Department at Pratt Institute due to her outstanding body of work and thesis.

Clarissa journeyed into painting in high school after attending the world renowned Interlochen Arts Academy located in Traverse City, Michigan.

As a painter Clarissa has been in several group shows where she has displayed her artwork in Atlanta, GA and New York. Clarissa's art was in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia's "Movers & Shakers of the Georgia Art Scene" exhibition. She has also been published in Rolling Out, The Life and Times of Utica, and has appeared on CBS Atlanta News just to name a few.

While in New York she produced and moderated a panel discussion, titled "The Changing Face of Black Art in America, Post Obama" held at Pratt Institute. She has also produced art lectures and panel discussions featuring prominent artist like Cey Adams and Aaron Perry Zucker.
