These paintings comes at a time in Clarissa Corinne's life when she was soul searching for the love of others, her soulmate, and herself.  During this period of her life she was dating, yet single for a lot of years.  In her attempt to find love she discovered a lot about herself.  Falling in and out of love is not just fun, but also painful.  It's a journey and a process.  Finding a good man can be hard to find, but finding yourself as a young black woman while in this process, can be even harder.
